Windows 11

Already using Windows 11 in your business? Yes? Nice work! (If not, now’s the time to consider it...)

Microsoft is phasing out the older versions of Mail and Calendar in Windows 11 at the end of December. You’ll no longer be able to use them after the 31st.

This is to make way for the new Outlook app, which will become the central place to manage your emails, calendar, and contacts. It offers a more modern, streamlined experience, fitting in perfectly with Windows 11.

If you’re worried about losing your emails, contacts, or calendar events once you upgrade – there’s no need. Everything can be easily exported into the new Outlook app. Microsoft have even released a quick guide on how to do it.

With support for Windows 10 ending next year, Microsoft are moving things forward. It’s time to say goodbye to the old, and hello to the new.
